About Joachim B. Hansen
Joachim B. Hansen truly made his mark as an amateur by winning the individual title at the Eisenhower Trophy in 2010, which laid the foundation for him to turn professional later that same year.
After solid performances on the Nordic League and Challenge Tour, he topped the Challenge Tour rankings in 2018 — becoming the first Dane to do so since Thomas Bjørn in 1995. That season, he claimed two tournament victories: the Turkish Airlines Challenge and the Made in Denmark Challenge.
His breakthrough win on the European Tour came in November 2020 at the Joburg Open, where he delivered a bogey-free final round to secure a two-shot victory. The 2021 season proved even better with a win at the Aviv Dubai Championship, where he finished one shot ahead of the field.
Throughout his career, he has achieved a total of 6 professional victories: 2 on the European Tour, 2 on the Challenge Tour, and 2 on the Nordic League.
